Circle of Hands,Inc - An Intercultural & Interfaith Organization for Peace
Inaugural Event at Longwood Garden
The Event was attended by 300 people from Delaware and Pennsylvania but some guests came from Maryland, New Jersey and New York.
Professor Muqtedar Khan inaugurated the event in the Music Room. His speech was relevant to the times we live in and enjoyed by all those who attended.
Vendors added to the beauty of the gardens with their displays. A particular attraction were the live Mannequins posing in different areas of the Exhibition Hall.
Guests enjoyed food and beverages set amongst cafe style table arrangements as well as butlered Hors D'eourves.
The silent auction station in the Patio of Oranges, attested to the generous spirit of the community and area businesses by raising  $2000.
The Cultural exhibits were visited by numerous guests and received many compliments.
The highlight of the event was the fashion show on the beautifully illuminated cat walk.
The graceful, rich and Mughlia accented outfits worn by the models were a huge success!
A big thank you to all the volunteers, almost one hundred of them, who made this event possible. Also a very special thanks and heart felt appreciation from Circle of Hands, to the May 17th committee members, for their valuable time, great advice and unsurpassed effort!
